Airline Transport Pilot Instruction

Take Flight Alaska has an open door policy. Current students are both men and women, from throughout Alaska, including rural villages. Take Flight Alaska is also licensed to provide flight training to foreign nationals; the school does, however, require foreign students to be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Students must be at least 23 years of age, and possess a First Class Medical Certificate.
The student will obtain the aeronautical skill and experience necessary to meet the requirements to be issued an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
The student will demonstrate through written tests, flight tests and training records that he has the necessary aeronautical skill and experience to be issued an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Completion of this course is a prerequisite for advanced turbine training and, with that additional training, is typically sufficient for an occupational entry-level position with major air carriers.

The above training times are the minimum for this course. At the end of this course, the student may require additional instruction to achieve the proficiency level required to meet the minimum standards for the issue of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. The course cost does not include the aircraft rental for the check ride.
Non-immigration students may require additional instruction to meet attendance hours required by federal law in order to maintain their status.
Training will be accomplished in the Beechcraft Duchess BE-76 airplane.
