Enrollment Requirements

Students enrolling in this course must possess a valid Third Class Medical certificate and a Private Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating.

Course Objective

The student will obtain the aeronautical skill, knowledge and experience necessary to meet the requirements to be issued a Commercial Pilot Certificate with the addition of an Airplane Multi engine Land Rating.

Completion Standard

The student will demonstrate through written tests, flight tests and training records that he has the necessary aeronautical skill and experience to be issued a Commercial Pilot Certificate with the addition of the Airplane Multi engine Land Rating. Completion of this course is a prerequisite for advanced training and is typically sufficient for an occupational entry-level pilot position with regional air carriers.

Ground Instruction 49 hours

DPE Check Ride

 

The above training times are the minimum for this course. At the end of this course, the student may require additional instruction to achieve the proficiency level to meet the minimum standards to be issued a Commercial Pilot Certificate-Airplane Multi engine Land Rating. The course cost does not include aircraft rental for the check ride.

Training will be accomplished in the airplanes listed above. The commercial pilot kit contains the basic text and materials for the course. The student may need or desire some additional text or materials.
